The Bistrita-Nasaud Museum Complex invites you on Friday, August 8, from 5:30 p.m., to a special cultural event, organized in partnership with the Siebenbürgisches Museum Gundelsheim (Germany) and the Turda Collection House Association (Romania).
At the heart of the program is the conference
"𝗗𝗲𝗿 Irmgard Sedler, born in Transylvania, was the chief curator and department director at the Brukenthal National Museum in Sibiu until 1991. Later settled in Germany, she headed the museums of the city of Kornwestheim (Museum im Kleihues-Bau, Schulmuseum Nordwürttemberg, Stadtgeschichtliche Sammlungen/Salamander) and, since 1999, she has been the president of the Transylvanian Museum Association in Gundelsheim.
Dr. Zoltan Mladzsi Ionescu, a specialist in art and collections, is the president of the Cultural Association Casa Colecțiilor in Turda, an organization dedicated to promoting, supporting and developing cultural, artistic and educational activities.
We are waiting for you at the Bistrita Museum to explore, through ceramics, a common story of ethnic and cultural diversity in Transylvania.
