About

At the 22nd edition of the European Night of Museums, the Bistrița-Năsăud Museum Complex joins museums and cultural spaces across Romania and abroad, inviting the public to an evening dedicated to heritage, art, creativity, and community.

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM, we invite you to the Night of Museums, featuring new exhibitions, music, interactive activities for children and adults, creative workshops, and relaxation areas.

The public is invited to rediscover our museum spaces:
 • Bistrița Museum
 • The Silversmith’s House, Bistrița
 • Năsăud Border Guards Museum
 • Comparative Art Museum, Sângeorz-Băi

This year’s edition focuses on community life and the artistic creativity around us. We will rediscover brass band music, commemorate remarkable personalities of the city, and open gateways to past worlds through objects and stories carefully preserved within the museum space.
